Ethiopia Gotiti
Origin: Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia
Varietal: Landtrace Varietal
Process: Washed
Tasting Notes: Pineapple, Vanilla, Rose
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and the Yirgacheffe region produces some of the most distinctive and sought-after beans in the world. The Gotiti is a washed Ethiopian lot grown from indigenous landrace varietals — genetically diverse plants that have adapted to the local terroir over centuries, producing flavor profiles that are impossible to replicate anywhere else.
This coffee is elegant and floral. The washed process gives it a tea-like clarity, letting delicate notes of tropical pineapple, smooth vanilla, and fragrant rose come through with remarkable precision. It's the kind of coffee that reminds you why specialty coffee exists — nuanced, complex, and unlike anything you've tasted from a conventional roaster.
We give this one a gentle Scandinavian-style roast at our Eugene, Oregon roastery to preserve every layer of its natural complexity. Ideal for pour-over brewing methods like V60 or Chemex, where the floral aromatics really open up.
