Grown in the mountainous Opalaca region of western Honduras, the Comicovel is a washed coffee that showcases everything we love about Central American specialty beans. The high altitude and volcanic soil of Opalaca create ideal conditions for slow cherry development, which translates to a balanced, sweetness-driven cup.

This is an approachable, comforting coffee — rich milk chocolate sweetness up front, a creamy nougat mid-palate, and a bright orange zest finish that keeps it lively. If you're new to specialty coffee or looking for something that works beautifully as a daily drinker, the Comicovel is a perfect starting point. It's equally delicious brewed as espresso or drip.

Roasted in our Scandinavian-style light profile at our Eugene, Oregon roastery, this coffee highlights the clean, transparent character that washed processing is known for.
