Our Original Home and Roastery

Our downtown Eugene location at 291 E 5th Ave is where it all started — and where we still roast every batch of coffee we sell. When you visit, you'll often see (and smell) fresh coffee being roasted right in the cafe. There's nothing quite like drinking a cup of coffee that was roasted just steps from where you're sitting.

Located in the heart of downtown Eugene, we're an easy walk from the Hult Center, the Saturday Market area, and the shops and restaurants along 5th Avenue. Whether you're starting your morning, taking a midday break, or meeting a friend, our downtown shop is a welcoming space to slow down and enjoy a great cup of coffee.

What to Expect

Our downtown cafe has a distinctive vibe — artsy, warm, and unpretentious. The space features hand-drawn black-and-white illustrations on our coffee bags (designed by knxwfuture out of Austin, Texas), indie music, and a community atmosphere that regulars and first-timers alike appreciate.

Grab a spot at the bar to watch espresso drinks being crafted, settle into a table for a longer stay, or take your coffee to go. Wi-Fi is available for those who want to work or study.

Menu Highlights

Our full drink menu features handcrafted espresso drinks, single-origin pour-overs, drip coffee, and seasonal specialties like our Cafe Tonic. We also serve iced lattes, blended drinks, and a selection of non-coffee options.

On the food side, try our popular Avocado Toast, S'more Toast, or a Granola Bowl made with housemade granola, fresh fruit, and yogurt.

All of our coffee is roasted in-house using Scandinavian-style light roast techniques, so expect bright, sweet, and complex flavors in every cup.

Getting Here

We're located at 291 E 5th Ave in downtown Eugene, between Pearl Street and Oak Street. Street parking is available on 5th Ave and surrounding blocks. The LTD bus system has multiple stops within a short walk of the shop.

Nearby landmarks: Hult Center for the Performing Arts, Eugene Saturday Market (seasonal), Lane County Courthouse, downtown Eugene restaurants and shops.
