From the hillside washing stations of Kayanza, Burundi, the Remera is a beautifully balanced East African coffee that showcases the best of Burundian specialty. Rich volcanic soil and high-altitude growing conditions produce dense, complex beans with exceptional sweetness and clarity.

Juicy strawberry fruit leads the cup, followed by crisp apple acidity and a smooth, sweet cream finish that lingers well after each sip. This is a welcoming, crowd-pleasing coffee that works beautifully as a daily drinker or as a pour-over worth savoring.

Roasted in our Scandinavian-style light profile at our Eugene, Oregon roastery, this coffee highlights the clean, transparent character that washed processing is known for.
